Sooo, these last ten years were... interesting.

We can only hope for better films. And music. And politicians.

Cheers to the 20th century. Ah, 1999... Duh.

See you in 2010, folks!

You Get What You Give

Yes. It's amazing when you're given the original Star Wars trilogy on VHS.

Fifteen years ago I set out to make a film for a generation growing up without fairy tales.

Star Wars was my own elaborate fantasy, but its popularity has gone beyond anything I had ever imagined.

In years to come I hope that you, your children, and your children's children will enjoy experiencing this saga as much as I have. — George Lucas, 1988

Overall, it was a good Black Friday. I hung out with a friend and her father, and by the end of the day, the three of us sat around the stereo analyzing Nirvana's Nevermind and Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Riff by riff, word by word.

Stay flamin', folks.

Golpe tras golpe para el pueblo puertorriqueño. ¿Has visto las imágenes y videos impactantes?

A few days ago, I had the privilege of watching Spirited Away. I am familiar with Hayao Miyazaki's works, but no, I had not seen this one, and yes, I was blown away.

Miyazaki is a genius, and I have simply fallen in love with this beautiful film.

Moving on, I want to give a shout out to all my SCAD friends, especially ~GlowingSpiritGirl, who recently got her acceptance letter to said art college (Savannah College of Art and Design). We are all so happy over here, Liz!

Team Avatar/Ninja Crew of SCAD: I love you guys, and I'll see you soon!

Stay flamin', folks!
